Document Description
The project would improve the functions and values of the existing stream segment to provide greater bank stability and improved wildlife habitat. These improvements include rebuilding more stable banks, creating natural stream features (i.e., meanders, riffles, pools), and replanting with native wetland and riparian species. The project is necessary to alleviate erosion along the banks of the MCDC in a manner that increases both the environmental and aesthetic value along the stream's corridor.
