Document Description
Mission Springs Water District (MSWD) provides sewer service to portions of its service area in and around the City of Desert Hot Springs. It is MSWD responsibility to collect and treat wastewater generated within it's service area. The purpose of this project is to provide sewer to development in the westerly portion of the MSWD that has been approved by the City of Desert Hot Springs and the County of Riverside. Wastewater collected by this pipeline will be transported to MSWD's Alan L. Horton Wastewater Treatment Plant (HWTP). The HWTP presently has adequate capacity to accommodate the flows that will be conveyed by this pipeline. The beneficiaries of the project will be the District's customers and water quality in general by providing treatment of wastewater generated in the area to be served by this project.
