Western Canal Water District ("WCWD") is proposing to sell up to 30,000 acre feet of water to Member Districts of the State Water Project Contractors Authority during the 2005 irrigation season. The water will be made available by crop idling or crop shifting on up to 9,091 acres within WCWD and would be managed by the California Department of Water Resources for deliveries to the purchaser.
