Document Description
The Redevelopment Agency of the County of Sacramento proposes to establish a Florin Road Redevelopment Project Area to provide the Agency with the tools to revitalize a relatively stagnant part of the community by removing physical and economic blight. The Florin Road Redevelopment Plan would implement the County's adopted General Plan by, among other things, funding public improvement projects, developing vacant properties and redeveloping underutilized properties, thereby improving property values. The proposed Redevelopment Plan will provide a financing and implementation mechanism by which the Agency can utilize a range of projects and programs and work with residents, businesses, and property owners to alleviate the blighted conditions that exist in the project area.
