The project will allow for changes in water supply operations in the Carmel River and Seaside Groundwater Basin. The project will divert up to 2,022 AFA of surplus flow from the Carmel River and store this water in the Seaside Groundwater Basin for later use. The project includes construction of a 6,800 foot long pipeline and an injection/extraction well.
