Document Description
The Department of Parks and Recreation proposes to reduce the fuel load on approximately 1200 acres of high wildlife risk parkland in a high priority area near the historic town of North Bloomfield, within the Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park. The project is consistent with the San Juan Ridge Coordinated Resource Management Plan and will provide a critical element for reducing the fire hazard locally and for the more populated areas of wester Nevada County.
