Document Description
The proposed Southwest Campus would provide college and adult education facilities for approximately 16,000 students and 400 faculty and staff at full build out. The campus would consist of low-profile (one and two story structures) academic classroom and administrations buildings; art and cultural program buildings; sports facilities, including fields; and staff, student, and visitor parking facilities. Buildings on the campus are planned to total approximately 413,000 gross square feet of laboratory, lecture, and other space including physical fitness facilities, library, and miscellaneous administrative office and support space with a total of 1,789 parking spaces. The campus will have a balanced day/evening program with weekend classes and activities. The campus would also provide physical education courses and intercollegiate athletics.
