Document Description
The proposed project includes the addition of buildings to house a new library, classrooms, computer labs, a new administration building, and a new gymnasium with showers and locker rooms. The existing two-story classroom/administration/library building would be reconfigured into a classroom building with larger classrooms. The applied arts/cafeteria building would be remodeled. The school's existing gymnasium would be re-used and reconfigured as part of this project. Other components of the project include new exterior covered walkways, a new parking area, and new passenger drop-off areas. The site plan of the commercial property at 1414 Fair Oaks would be returned to its original award winning configuration and the space would be reconfigured to allow for school use. In addition, the project involves the acquisition of commercial properties and an apartment building, and closure of a portion of Rollin Street for the development of the project.
