The operator proposes to remove sediment and mature willows from Rindler Creek next to Home Depot along the Columbus Parkway in Vallejo, Solano County. The channel is concrete lined, approximately 6 to 8 feet deep and 30 feet wide. Approximately 500 to 600 linear feet will be cleaned of vegetation and debris. Approximately 1,000 cubic yards of sediment and 95 arroyo willows will be installed. The willows will be cut and then excavators will remove the sediment and root structures.
