Document Description
The proposed project is comprised of the expansion of the existing Wayne J Sand and Gravel mining facility. The facility is propose to be expanded from 80 acres to 200 acres and to continue in operation for an additional 30 years to the Year 2043. It is proposed that aggregate material production from the mining site be increased from 270,000 tons per year to 700,000 tons per year. Truck traffic associated with the export of material would increase in proportion to the proposed increase in the production rate. The mine operator requests that a modified conditional use permit be granted and an Amended Reclamation Plan be approved.
