Document Description
The uNiversity has proposed a Minor Master Plan Revision to construct an 11,500 square foot International Center for Water Technology. The building is located at the southwest corner of Chestnut and Barstow and will not exceed 30 feet in height, nor will it increase the capacity of the campus in a significant level of activity. It will not increase traffic or parking demand.

Reasons for Exemption
The project site is within the approved campus master paln on a project site of no more than five acres; has no value as a habitat for endangered or rare species. The site currently houses an antiquated building scheduled for demolition, thus all necessary utility services existing. It is consistent with the general university land use plan for academic and research facilities and policies and is specifically a delegated approval action which qualifies it as ministerial under the Trustees process for land use approvals.
