The RWP, the recycled water component of the RUWAP, consists of construction of a recycled water distribution system to provide recycled water from the existing Monterey Regional Water Pollution Control Agency (MRWPCA) Salinas Valley Reclamation Project recycled wastewater treatment facility (SVRP) to urban users in the MCWD service area and former Fort Ord which include the Cities of Marina, Seaside, and Del Rey Oaks, and the County of Monterey. This project has also been referred to as both the Regional Urban Recycled Water Project and the Recycled Water Project; therefore, project documentation may refer tot he RWP in one or more of these ways.
