Document Description
The project involves the analysis of two major water augmentation supply options (desalination and recycled water) capable of meeting redevelopment requirements of the former Fort Ord as anticipated by the Fort Ord Reuse Plan. The Water Augmentation Project's key objective, or goal, is to provide 2,400 acre-feet per year of water from sources other than groundwater to the former Fort Ord area, and potentially, an additional 300 AFY to other demands outside of the former Fort Ord.
