Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace Maacama Creek Bridge (No. 20-41) and Redwood Creek Bridge (No. 20-43) to accommodate standard 2.4-m (8.0 ft) shoulders and a driveway southwest of Maacama Creek Bridge on State Route 128 (SR128) in Sonoma County. Maacama Creek Bridge has been designated as scour critical. The term scour critical is used to identify a bridge that its foundation is currently stable but has the potential to be ended at its foundation to a point that it may become unstable during a large storm event and/or a long term scour condition.
