The project consists of design and construction of an above-ground skate park facility to be located on the south side of the City of Shafter near the intersection of Euclid Ave. and Birch St. Temporary skate park equipment, currently located at North Valley St. near Poso Ave. will be permanently relocated to the proejct site. Major work items include grading, utilities, irrigation, landscaping, a concrete slab, parking area, fencing relocation of skate park equipment, purchase of additional skate park equipment, and related improvements. Future improvements include public restrooms and snack bar.
