Document Description
The County of Los Angeles is proposing to renovate the Hall of Justice (HOJ) for use by the County agencies. The primary objective of the project is to rehabilitate and adaptively reuse the HOJ by seismically retrofitting the earthquake damaged building refurbishing the building interior for modern office use while preserving its historic features to the extent preservation is economically feasible. The renovation and restoration of exterior elements of the building area also proposed. The building was used for jail, court and office purpose until closed in 1994.
