The California Department of Food and Agriculture is proposing to construct a new agricultural inspection station to replace the existing station located in the City of Dorris because of the impending realignment of State Route 97 which would bypass the existing station. The new facility would include an administrative building, two inspection buildings, employee and truck parking, and will provide 4 passenger vehicle lanes and 3 truck lanes. Modular office space would be provided to facilitate local California Highway Patrol activities.
