Document Description
The Sonoma County Department of General Services proposes to build a new Valley of the Moon Children's Home and Redwood Children's Center in a vacant area just westerly of the existing facility. The new facility would be located approximately 100 feet westerly of the current site, within the same county owned parcel. The new facility will be a single story, wood framed structure organized around courtyards and the existing trees in the area. In total, the size of the new facility is projected to be approximately 46,000 SF, divided into two buildings; one building will provide living, dining, and food services, the second building will provide paces for administrative and medical and mental health services as well as the Redwood Children's Center.
