Document Description
Repair sinkhole in the plaza to the historic stable at San Juan Bautista State Historic Park. Sinkhole is currently approximately 6 feet indiameter and 6 feet in diameter and 6 inches deep, but is slowly increasing in size and depth (1-2 inches per day). Soil is separating from the adjacent Stable foundation. Area of sinkhole will be excavated, stabilized, filled, and resurfaced to match surrounding surface. Adjacent services (water, drains, sewer system) will be evaluated for possible damage and repaired as necessary. Natural and cultural resource monitors will be on-site as necessary throughout construction, and work will be completed in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and DPR polices.
