Document Description
The Student Academic Services Facility Project proposes the construction of an approximate 115,300-gsf building, of which approximately 75,000 square feet would be assignable (asf). The building would house a mixture of administrative offices, student support space, conference rooms, assembly space, public common areas and commercial space. The proposed project site is approximately 2.9 acres in size. The proposed limits of work would encompass the buidling plus adjacent sidewalks and crosswalks, minor parking restriping in the Town Square area and the construction staging areas to the south and east. Development of the proposed project would require demolition of the three wood-frame structures constructed during the Camp Matthews era of the 1940's, including building 402, 411 and 412, and demolition or relocation of building 407, also a Camp Matthews era structure. Building 408 would be demolished as part of the West Campus Utilities Project.
