Document Description
The proposed project would alter 8.2 feet of the streambed to extend the existing culvert and allow construction of a side walk. The purpose of the project is to complete this section of side walk so pedestrians do not need to walk out into traffic. The streambed consists of an unlined channel that supports a combination of native and exotic plant species. A construction staging area will be located directly to the west of the creek. The total impact is .248 acre of streambed; permanent impacts total .007 acre for the footprint of the culvert extension and wingwall; temporary impacts total .241 acre consisting of .14 acre of riparian wood land, .031 acre of streambed and .07 acre of mulefat scrub adjacent to the streambed.
