Document Description
The proposed project consists of a General Amendment/Rezoning for 17 acres north of and abutting Cherry Avenue, between El Camino Real and Highway 101, to create a residential subdivision on 13.8 acres of the property. A rezoning for the remaining 3.2 acres from "M" Light industrial to "H-C" Highway Commercial is also requested. The project does not include development plans for the proposed "H-C" rezoning however, for the purposes of the environmental analysis, it was assumed that this area would be developed at 70,000 square-feet, the maximum allowed by the highway commercial designation. The proposed residential subdivision includes 48 single-family lots of 6,000 square feet each, a 25,000 square foot park, a storm water detention pond, and three lots on the north side of the property intended for approximately 44 multi-family units.
