Document Description
The proposed project will construct two bridges and three "geogrid" crossing to allow vehicular access to agricultural and grading lands. At Site 1 on Trout Creek, a railroad flatcar approximately 110-feet long and 12-feet wide will be constructed. Another bridge will be constructed at Site 2 on Trout Creek. At this location, the creek passes through a deeply incised channel. Steel "I" beams will be pile driven into the ground outside of the top of bank. At Site 3 on Trout Creek, a webbed geogrid crossing will be placed in the streambed to provide a soil crossing for vehicles and to reduce erosion and sedimentation within the streambed. The geogrid webbing is a hard plastic liner that, when stretched, opens to form diamond-shaped pockets to accommodate gravel. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2002-0301 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
