Document Description
A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) to allow redevelopment of a former surface mining operation and development of a reclamation plan on a 64.18 acre parcel in accordance with the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA) of 1975. Material to be mined is sand and gravel. As proposed, mining and associated activities would disturb approximately 35 acres of the 64 acre parcel. Mining would be incremental, with each increment comprising borrow areas of up to 5 acres which would be mined over a period of approximately 2 to 3 years. Only one 5 acre borrow area would be mined at a time.
