Document Description
Project includes structural foundation drilling for the proposed Lake Britton Bridge. Drilling will occur at three locations. Minor excavation will occur at each drilling site in order to support drilling equipment and personnel. Temporary access roads will be constructed which will be constructed which will be re-vegetated after project work has been completed. Road construction will consist of light grading. Trees and rock outcroppings will be avoided. Best Management Practices for storm water will be applied on newly constructed roads throughout the project area. Water used for the foundation last driling will be pumped for Lake Britton and transported to the drill site. Water used in the drilling process will be pumped into a closed system that will recalculate the water. Remaining wastewater, drill cuttings,and any drill tailings will be contained and transported to an approved off-site disposal area. In addition, seismic reflection, testing will be conducted and will require the temporary installation of signal lines and signal receive.
