Document Description
Remove invasive European beachgrass from approximately six acres of coastal dunes in Tolowa Dunes State Park to preserve and protect native ecosystem. Remove beachgrass manually and/or with the assistance of hand tools, then remove beachgrass from area, pile and burn at a later date, or leave to decompose in dunes. Monitor and remove re-sprouts on a reoccurring basis as necessary. A qualified individual will monitor work areas during western snowy plover breeding period (March 1 through August 21).
