Document Description
The applicant proposes to create 2.56 acres of mitigation wetlands for impacts to seasonal wetlands and other water resulting from the construction of a private airstrip that crosses 2 intermittent streams and an access road on a 900 acre ranch. Native wetland species endemic to the area will be used to revegetate the wetlands. In addition, to ensure that one of the two existing culverts under the airstrip does not constitute a barrier to fish movement, 3 gabions will be installed to back up runoff and create resting pools.
