Document Description
The U.S. Army of Engineers, Los Angeles District and the City of Fillmore in Ventura County, California, propose to construct a levee to protect the City of Fillmore's wastewater treatment plant from inundation and bank erosion. The wastewater treatment plant is located along the north bank of the Santa Clara River between Sespe Creek and the Highway 23 bridge. The facility is subject to damage from toe erosion and inundation due to overtopping of the existing earth berm and from backwater effects. The purpose of the proposed action is to provide 100-year flood protection for the City of Fillmore's wastewater treatment plant.
