The County of Los Angeles is proposing to construct a new approximately 45,000 square-foot single story library building with associated parking on approximately 5 acres at Schabarum Regional Park to address the projected year 2020 library service needs of the Hacienda Heights, La Habra Heights, and Rowland Heights areas. The project will require an oak tree permit and an amendment to the Schabarum Regional Park Development Plan for the development of a new library facility within a portion of the park.
