Document Description
A request to update the El Pomar-Estrella Area Plan. Many conditions within the El Pomar-Estrella planning area have changed since the adoption of the original LUE/LUO. The area has seen a population increase of 2,142 between 1990 and 2000. Many textual and mapping changes are proposed as part of the plan update. Textual changes are substantial throughout and include the following: A section containg new general goals; A section titled "Service Policies and Programs"; An expanded cirulation chapter; Significant additions to the planning area standards; An expanded combining designation chapter; and in general, the mapping changes include the following: Land use changes for portiions of some land use categories in the Creston and rural areas; Modifications within combing designations chapter. A number of land use changes are proosed throughtout the North Coast planning area as part of the Area Plan.
