Document Description
The applicant proposes to install two permanent culverts in two small intermittent streams. The two culverts are with 50 feet of each other at the juncture of two channels. The proposed activities are on a permanent existing skid trail crossing on class II watercourses. The upstream watercourse is domestic water supply only and not fish habitat. The sides of the culverts are 36-inch and 42-inch by 15 feet long. Access will be by existing road. The culverts will be placed on the sides of the fill within the stream channel for stabilization and erosion protection. Culvert surface crossing and distrubed soil with the WLPZ will be seeded and mulched. The project sites are unnamed tributaries to Anderson Creek, Navarro watershed, Mendocino County. CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement R3-2002-0049, pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. Mike Heath, Vanderhorst Forestry.
