Document Description
California-American Water Company (Cal-Am) owns and operates the potable water supply source, treatment, and distribution system in the Larkfield area, which is located north of Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County, California. Well 3 is in one of the primary water sources for the system. A recent video log of the well showed multiple holes in the well screens. The lower portions of the well have been filled with sediments, which makes the well unusable. This project is to drill and construct a replacement well, to be called Well 3A. The original Well 3 is located in the northwest corner of Cal-Am's storage lot located at 530 Mayfield Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95403-1439 between residential homes and the adjacent Highway 101. The new Well 3A will be constructed on the same property in the southwest portion of the site.
