Document Description
South Valley Disposal and Recycling, Incorporated, proposes to expand their existing transfer station operation to allow the company to upgrade its transfer station activities and consolidate its operations in one location. The proposed project consists of an increase in the tonnage of waste handled at the transfer station, which will result in increased traffic and noise levels, modifications to existing structures and the construction of new facilities at the transfer station site, which include the expansion of the transfer station and recycling operations buildings, and the addition of an organics transfer building, and the relocation of their truck and garage facility and administration offices from a location in Gilroy to a parcel adjacent to the transfer station, which include administrative offices, a truck wash, and a truck maintenance facility.
