Document Description
The proposed project is construction of a new Bessie Carmichael Elementary School on an approximately 1.4 acre site on 7th and Sherman Streets, between Folsom and Harrison Streets. The project would involve the demolition of three warehouse buildings on the site (two one-story concrete structures and one two-story wood frame building) and the adjacent existing Bessie Carmichael Elementary School, and the construction of a new two-story, U-shaped, approximately 56,358 square foot Bessie Carmichael Elementary School.
