Document Description
Amend the City of South Lake Tahoe's 1985 Special Use Permit for the Tahoe Queen to modify or delete obsolete conditions and to add new permit conditions and vessels to which the permit is applicable. In addition to the Tahoe Queen, this revised permit includes use of the Tahoe Paradise, Tahoe Princess, and the Meteor. Hornblower is authorized to substitute these vessels for any regularly scheduled Tahoe Queen excursion boat tour. Charter services would be added to the offering of regularly scheduled tours. However, passenger capacity utilizing both the charter and tour boat operations remains limited to a total of 1,950 during any 24-hour day. All four boats may be used in the charter capacity. Loading and unloading of charter or excursion passengers within the City will be authorized at the Ski Run Marina only. All other proposed docking facilities for the charter activities are outside of the City limits and have been permitted by the Tahoe Regional Planning agency.
