Document Description
Create a shaded fuel break by removal of brush only along a ridge running roughly parallel to County Road A-14. Approximately 60-70% of the brush cover will be removed. The fuel break will be 1.7 miles in length with a mean width of 50 feet. The width will vary by about 20 feet and be feathered to create a more natural appearance. The work will be performed by a tracked machine with a brush masticating head. The project will provide fire protection.
