Document Description
Project consists of removal of extinging failed fencing next to an archaeological site and replacement with temporary fencing placed along the adjacent concrete footpath to protect the cultural resource. The archaeological site is heavily eroded so native vegetation will be added to discourage foot traffic and occassional use as a homeless camp. Excavation and planting will be done by hand, and project will require the instalation of up to ten t-posts to hold fence. Fence will be removed when vegetation matures.

No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated. An archaeologist will ensure avoidance of significant impacts to cultural resources. New structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. (class 2) Project does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees. (class 4) Temporary use of land having negligible or no permanent effects on the environment. (class 4e)
