The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2006-0441-R2 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Freeport Regional Water Authority (FRWA).
The FRWA project involves construction of a 185 million gallon per day design capacity intake facility and the construction of a 5- to 7-foot diameter pipeline to convey water 15 miles to the Folsom South Canal and 15 miles from the Folsom South Canal to the Mokelumne Aqueduct.
