Document Description
The proposed project will consist of a new gravity sewer that will extend northerly from the intersection of Winding Way and Walnut Avenue under Arcade Creek to a pump station wet well. The gravity sewer will consist of a 12 inch diameter pipe installed by the trenchless horizontal direction drill method. The pipe material will be high density polyethylene pipe with a minimum standard dimension ratio of 17. The proposed pump station would exist underground for the most part with only about the the top 2 or 3 feet protruding above surface. The pump station will operate at two constant speeds. Each pump will have a capacity of 1.8 million gallons per day. The project would improve operations and maintenance of the sanitry sewer system located at the site.
