The purpose of the project is to implement several improvements along the Huenenme Drain that are intended to improve the capacity of the Hueneme Drain during the 100 year storm event, thereby preventing flooding of the adjacent residential development. If left in its present condition, approximately 82 single family sturctures, and 26 multi-family structures ma be damaged by the 100 year flood.
