Document Description
A three year extension to initiate a Conditional Use Permit approved December 7, 1998 for the development and operation of a commercial campground to be known as Chamise Mountain Campground. The campground will operate on a seasonal basis and be primarily available to group camping activities. Twelve (12) wall tents/platform tents will be developed to accommodate up to 24 persons. A 576 sf central comfort station will be developed to contain shower and restroom facilities. The applicant is also requesting a modification of permit to add component which would allow for one-day group events such as weddings, baby showers, one-day conferences to accommodate up to 150 attendees. The number of such events would be within the range of six per season (May 1 through September 30) to two per month during the season (May 1 through September 30).
