Document Description
Proposal to complete sidewalk infill and drainage improvements on Brommer Street between 7th Avenue and 17th Avenue to include: curb, gutter and 4 foot wide contiguous sidewalk, 4-6 foot wide separated sidewalk with landscape strip where feasible, on-street parking on the north side where feasible, bike lanes, construction of addtional storm drain pipe and drainage inlets, replacement of an existing 18" in diameter drainage outfall pipe with a 24 inch pipe on the south side of street within the riparian corridor (Schwan Lake tributary), construction of retaining walls where necessary, and replacement of the existing 14 inch sewer lateral with a 36 inch sewer lateral. The project requires removal of 3 trees, an approximately 6 inch in diameter Catalpa tree, an 8 inch in diameter California Pepper, an 8 inch in diameter fruit tree. Project requires a Coastal Zone Development Permit, Riparian Exception (to grade outside the roadway prism), and Environmental Review. Project location is Brommer Street between 7th Avenue and 17th Avenue, in the Live Oak planning area.
