Document Description
The applicants request approval for a Use Permit to construct an unstaffed wireless communications site. American Tower Corporation builds wireless communications towers and leases antenna space to carriers. The proposed project includes constructing a single 120-foot high metal lattice tower that would support 3 panel antenna arrays, 2 paging whip antennas, 2 microwave dishes and ground space for up to four equipment shelters. All the facilities would be within the 10,000 square foot (100 feet x 100 feet) fenced lease area on the site. At build-out, four sets of antennas would be mounted at specific intervals between 120 feet and 90 feet on the tower. No propane tank or diesel powered backup generator are proposed. The applicants propose to install a motion activated light on the tower structure. Only one low-wattage, manually controlled light would be allowed on each equipment shelter.
