Document Description
The proposed project is an open space preserve and landscaping plan. The following elements are proposed: Preservation of all vernal pools, including the establishment of permanent 250-foot wide buffers around all wetlands containing special status species. The planting of native oak trees outside the wetland buffer area, including drip irrigation. A decomposed granite trail system, approximately 12 feet wide, with quarter-mile markers and interpretive signs. Interpretive kiosks at road intersections to provide information to the public about vernal pools and their associated biology.
