Document Description
The proposed project program for Arlington Heights Elementary School consists of the addition of a permanent two-story building that would contain 14 general classrooms, three kindergarten classrooms, student and faculty toilets, an elevator, and two stairwells, totaling approximately A total of 10 existing buildings in five portable buildings would be removed, from the campus, resulting in a net addition of four general classrooms and one kindergarten class room. This would result in an increase in the number of two-semester seats accommodated at the campus by 125 seats, from 842 to 967. A subterranean parking structure, totaling approximately 12,800 square feet is also proposed for the campus. The structure wouyld accommodate 33 cars and would be located directly under the proposed classroom addition building. The structure would be accessed via Seventh Avenue, at the northern end of the Arlington Heights Elementary School campus. Access to the site would be reserved for the Arlington Heights Elementary School faculty and staff only.
