Document Description
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is proposing to install a new, gas-fired combined-cycle generating system (CCGS) at the existing Haynes Generating Station, take two existing steam boilers out of service, and make necessary changes to accommodate the new system. The new CCGS will include two dual-fuel combusion gas turbines (CTs), two heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), one new steam turbine generator, and associated selective catalyctic reduction (SCR) systems. The CCGS will require modifications in the plant's existing cooling water intake and discharge systems, as well as installation of appurtenant equipment.
