Document Description
Repair roadway and roadway foundation at Site #3 - Main Road at Mount Diablo State Park. Approximately 200 feet of roadway that has failed will be excavated to eight feet, subdrains installed, Geogrid reinforced fill installed, and an erosion control blanket placed on new fill slopes. New roadway surface of 3-1/2" asphalt concrete (AC) will be installed over an 11-inch compacted base. An AC dike will be placed on the outside shoulder, an AC ditch at the base of the cut slope, and a new 18" CMP and down drain installed with rip-rap protection. Disturbed areas will be revegetated with local native species immediately after completion of work. Snake fencing will be installed at construction site as required by DFG and/or USFW, to avoid impact to Alameda Whipsnake.
