HHWVAR010902 - Variance to Tulare County to conduct an agricultural waste oil collection program. The variance also authorizes an initial one-time collection of up to 550 gallons of waste oil from each qualified Tulare County agricultural business. The collections provide appropriate means of disposing of hazardous waste. The variance is based on the evidence that: 1. Only qualified generators participating in the agricultural oil collection program will be serviced under this variance; 2. The used oil is taken to an authorized facility; and 3. The oil is transported by a registered hazardous waste hauler using modified manifest procedures.
