Document Description
Council Approval and Coastal Development Permit (CDP) for a Design/Build contract for Capital Improvements Project (CIP) No. 45-9400, the Wet Weather Storage Facility (WWSF). The Design/Build contract would direct the construction of the Wet Weather Storage Facility which would include a 7-million-gallon underground wastewater storage tank on-site and a screening facility, pumping station, pipelines, and odor control equipment off-site. A 30 to 50 foot-high stack may also be included as a part of the off-site WWSF odor control facility. The tank would be located on the southeastern portion of the Camp Nimitz/Public Safety Training Institute (PSTI) site at the intersection of McCain and Halsey Roads, within the Peninsula Community Plan area. The screening and odor control facilities would be located at the adjacent Pump Station No. 2 (PS2) at 4077 North Harbor Drive, east of the Peninsula Community Plan Area.
