The project proposes to convert an existing 287 unit mobile home park to a public campground and day use area with associated amenities including picnic sites, interpretive areas, building lifeguard facilities and restrooms while restoring the creek to a more natural channel. Project implementation will require adding sewer and other utilities, construction of a new entrance road, pedestrian access across Pacific Coast Highway and removal of the mobile home park infrastructure.
